Hi, I’m Chris Frampton. I’m a professional editorial and commercial photographer living in Toronto, Canada. I’m also a filmmaker, writer, speaker, ideas man, and all-round creative protagonist.
In 2008 I was awarded the PDN Faces award from Photo District News, the photography industry’s leading news magazine. I’ve worked with celebrities such as Sean Paul, Bloc Party and Kenny vs. Spenny, and have been a guest photographer on shows for Slice Network and CBC. My work with Toronto fashion icon Wayne Clarke was the subject of a TV pilot, and I have been a guest speaker at the Toronto Film School.
My photographs have appeared in Complex, YRB, Peace Magazine, The National Post, Tages Anzieger, and many other domestic and international publications. As a director and filmmaker I have collaborated with clients such as Honda Motorcycles, and my short films have been featured on Torontoist and Time.com.
I’m trained as a rescue diver and shipwreck penetration specialist, volunteer with at-risk youth, once wrote a terrible novel (sorry Doubleday), and am seriously into food. I’m usually way funnier than this.
